Hampton Court Palace

Hampton Court Palace
Joseph Hamilton & Seaton (JHS) worked closely with the Building Surveyor for Historic Royal Palaces to identify a suitable carpet for use in the Conservation Collections & Care department - an original Tudor building located in Tennis Court Lane within the Palace grounds.

Requirements overview

A man made carpet (wool carpets are not specified within area's where tapestries and fabrics are stored) with a contract rating to ensure high levels of durability, was needed for the offices within the building. Tweed is an attractive berber style textured loop pile carpet with a majority nylon content. It's stunning colour bank comprises natural earthy tones that are entirely in keeping with the aesthetic requirements at the palace.

In line with the on-going maintenance program at Hampton Court Palace it is intended that this product be used throughout the rest of the building.

Product used: Tweed colour Pecan
